Psychotherapy

Psychotherapy with Keri is a collaborative, confidential space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences with the support of a trained clinical psychologist. It offers time to slow down, reflect, and better understand yourself--especially during moments of stress, uncertainty or change. 


Together, we work at your pace to uncover patterns, develop insight, and find new ways of coping and relating. Therapy isn't about "fixing" you, but supporting your growth, resilience, and sense of clarity.  At its core, psychotherapy is a space for you to be heard, understood and supported.


Keri uses an integrative approach, combining psychodynamic, relational, emotion-focused, mindfulness, and positive psychology approaches.  Keri always views therapy/life through a trauma-informed lens.  She is certified in EMDR and utilizes it when appropriate in therapy. She also integrates mindfulness, CBT, DBT, art, and other techniques into treatment.  As a current soccer player, and former college soccer player, Keri brings a sports psychology perspective utilizing positive psychology, mindfulness, and peak performance strategies.

About EMDR

Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing

EMDR therapy involves guiding a person to focus on traumatic memories while simultaneously engaging in bilateral stimulation, typically through specific eye movements, taps, or sounds, which helps reduce the emotional intensity of those memories and facilitates adaptive processing of the experience. Unlike traditional talk therapy, EMDR does not require detailed verbal recounting of the trauma; instead, it focuses on transforming the emotional and physiological responses associated with the memory.
